Syria says Israel fabricated charges against accused spies
Damascus – Syria has accused Israel of fabricating espionage charges leveled against three people, the official SANA news agency reported Friday. In a letter sent late Thursday by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mualem to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Damascus also said Israel was aiming to “intimidate” the three people.
